I want a piggy bank that comes to life and eats your hand

I don't think it's fair that banks and dairy companies can produce ads with cute walking piggy banks and hugging yoghurts without delivering the goods.
I held my arms outstretched at my fridge today waiting for the yoghurt to hug me - and did it??? NO!! Maybe the yoghurt was the wrong brand, maybe it was because the yoghurt wasn't mine and was off, but still - no hugging occurred between any dairy products and myself today.

I don't know what I would do with a random moving piggy bank, and yeah I have Sparticus - but I can't put money in her (without consequences) and she wasn't advertised blatantly as something I couldn't have.

Yes I am aware I'm a sucker for "cute" ads (DAMMIT) but the dairy and bank's ploy to lure me into their banks and foods hasn't worked - quite the opposite. I'll join their stupid bank for jerks (no offence any BNZ readers - just part of the rant) and eat their stupid foods for wanks when my food hugs me (and not the 'I threw up on myself now everything is sticky' hugging the toilet type of affection) and my money piggy banks get cute!!

Thought I would jump on the poetry bandwagon....

I've always loved this poem ever since studying it in first year... So beautiful :-)

Stopping by Woods on a Snowy Evening

Whose woods these are I think I know,
His house is in the village though.
He will not see me stopping here,
To watch his woods fill up with snow.

My little horse must think it queer,
To stop without a farmhouse near,
Between the woods and frozen lake,
The darkest evening of the year.

He gives his harness bells a shake,
To ask if there is some mistake.
The only other sound's the sweep,
Of easy wind and downy flake.

The woods are lovely, dark and deep,
But I have promises to keep,
And miles to go before I sleep,
And miles to go before I sleep.

-- Robert Frost

Wow, Old Main, what a great idea!

Now I wonder if this will count as published work to get me into journo school?! Somehow I might be disappointed there, but I agree with you there Tim, Palmy is lacking in publications that students can write for!

So - great idea there! Hope we can all put this to good use!

And wow, that butter chicken today was good! ;-) Except those people who work at the BC place (wow I don't know what it's called even though we go there at least once a week!) have got some serious lack of people skills! Makes me quite upset sometimes!

Take care all - looking forward to this! :-)
